Using the Tell/Show/Do/Recycle learning approach, participants will learn several Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma and Quality) techniques followed by immediate application on their own work problem. They will learn and apply the improvement cycle phases of establishing goals and measures; using data, identifying waste & value to understand the opportunities in current activities; performing cause and effect analysis to determine the root of the problems and identify solutions; testing and installing solutions.
Training: 16 hours of interactive education and application. Participants bring a scenario to class on which to focus and practice.
Prerequisites (recommended, not required): Introduction to Improvement: “Seeing the Possible” Course
Application and Coaching: One-on-one coaching until results are achieved.
Certification: Participation in this course and completion of 1 project = Continuous Improvement Yellow Belt
