Goal of Kaizen:

To gain the knowledge and skills to facilitate the improvement cycle effectively and efficiently within a Kaizen event including the confirming and preparing of the scope and team; performing the Kaizen event (rapid improvement project); and implementing the improvements.

Agenda: 

Training: 20 hours of education and application. Participants bring a process to class on which to focus and practice

  1. Kaizen event process overview.
  2. Confirm the Kaizen event.
  3. Prepare for the Kaizen event.
  4. Perform the Kaizen event.
  5. Implement the improvements.
  6. Managing the Change.

Application and Coaching: 5 days of on-site event co-lead. One-on-one coaching until results are achieved.

Certification: Participation in this course and completion of 1 project = Continuous Improvement Kaizen Black Belt
